Description: Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems. Something worse than the Arum has come to town…The Department of Defense are here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we're linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there's this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that's possible. Against all common sense, I'm falling for Daemon. Hard. But then everything changes…I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me? No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…
Review: Oh my goodness. Holy alien babies. Wow this was amazing!! I had read some mixed reviews on the sequel, but I wasn't disappointed at all! I was intrigued, again, with every turn of the page. There is so much betrayal and heartache, love and power in this story. Katy is one of those female characters you actually will LOVE. She is strong willed, smart, and selfless. The passion between the main characters (Katy and Daemon) is perfect, not too steamy and explicit but not super PG either. That is definitely one of the things I loved about this story in genreal was the romance and the way it was written. Less is always more, as my mother would say. And it makes it feel totally real, this connection between them both physical and emotional and DNA..al. Ha. Besides the love part of it, THIS STORY LINE IS SO INTERESTING. I am impressed and intrigued by the awesome alien story that keeps me spinning with its awesomeness. I am so sorry for not using a different adjective. I'm just so happy with this series so far and am being very vague as not to spoil anything. I've read it pretty quickly and am going to dive into the third book immediately! I highly recommend it if you love paranormal worlds, true romance, strong characters, and sassy boys with sweet hearts.
